We have just got back from a very enjoyable weekend in London. We visited our daughter and her boyfriend who both work there. We went to see Jospeh and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat starring Lee Mead. If you get the chance, go and see this show, it really is fantastic.
It would also seem that we had the best of weather as well. Hardly saw any rain whilst in London, not much wind either. My brother-in-law and his wife used our Lodge so we got the full update on the weather in the Lakes. Despite the weather, I still missed my usual weekend break at Fallbarrow, so looking forward to next weekend.
It has been several weeks since the parting of the ways between Graham Hodgson (and others) from South Lakeland Parks. As yet we have had no formal communication with the new Chief Executive (Nigel Wimpenny) so things are at a standstill. Time will tell if his appointment will signal a change in attitude from SLP. Let us hope so for every ones sake.
